Dr. Andrea Smirnes, owner of Woodward Veterinary Home Care, has more than 12 years of experience caring for the pets of metro area Detroit residents. She graduated with Honors from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.

Dr. Smirnes has a wide range of experience in the veterinary field. Along with her eleven years in small animal practice, she also has extensive experience in critical care and emergency medicine.

Dr. Smirnes is fully licensed by the State of Michigan and insured by the American Veterinary Medical Association.
